What does ScamSonnar actually do?
ScamSonnar checks a wallet or smart contract address against publicly visible blockchain activity and gives you a risk score, along with the specific reasons behind that score (things like a very new wallet, unusual transfer patterns, or dormant activity).
Which networks are supported?
ScamSonnar currently supports Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Solana. You can also search by a token's ticker instead of pasting its full address.
Why does it say "No Activity Detected" for my wallet?
This means we couldn't find any public on-chain activity for that address on any supported network. This usually happens when an address hasn't been used yet, or when funds are only held off-chain — for example, on an exchange, before you've ever made a withdrawal to that address.
Why doesn't my balance match what I see on my exchange?
A scan only shows what's publicly visible on the blockchain. Funds held on an exchange, in staking, or in other custody arrangements often aren't reflected as a simple balance on a single address, so the numbers can look different from what your exchange app shows you.
How many scans can I run?
Free accounts can run 5 scans every 24 hours. The limit resets on a rolling basis, 24 hours after your most recent scan — not at a fixed time of day.
Does a low risk score mean an address is 100% safe?
No. A low score means we didn't find any of the warning signs we currently check for — it's not a guarantee. Always use your own judgment, especially before sending significant funds, and treat ScamSonnar as one extra data point, not a final verdict.
Do you tell me exactly how the score is calculated?
We show you the specific reasons behind a result (for example, "Dormant wallet" or "Repeated destination routing"), but we don't publish the exact thresholds or weightings behind the scoring. This is intentional — it helps prevent people from deliberately engineering an address to game the score.
Is my scan history private?
Yes. Your scan history is tied to your account and only visible to you when signed in. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
